According to the other thread started by your friend, she was aware the documents she presented were fake.  Your mother must have known it was serious to present fake documents to any government official?

Unfortunately, you do have to wait.  It's a tough situation for you, yes, but here is no way around this unless the age of majority is lowered, which is likely not going to happen.  You must be 21 years of age to sponsor your mother.

Because presenting fake documents is considered "material misrepresentation" which is taken extremely seriously.

There is no "apology" that can overcome it, unfortunately.  There is a waiver, perhaps, but hard to get approved when it comes to material misrepresentation factor.

There is nothing you can do. 

 

If your mom has a ban for those fake documents she won't be able to move even if you hit the age of 21 and it theory you can sponsor her then. First step would be finding out if she has a ban or not. Then wait for your 21st birthday.

You are a US citizen, you are free to move.

There is nothing *you* can do....you didn't present the fake document, your mother did.  What she has done does not prevent you from living in the US.

Again, you cannot sponsor your mother until you reach the age of 21----there is no way to do it before then.

She's an adult, she was the one being interviewed.

Come back is 4 years to study what is possible then.

Op who is the child of denied mom- once you turn 21 and are a US citizen, you can petition for your mom.  Whether she is elligible for a visa will depend  what exactly happened at her interview/ what kind of ban she has.

Best would be to talk to your mother and ask her if there was anything stamped in her passport, or what was marked/stated on the letter she would have received at the end of her interview.  Also ask her exactly what the CO said to her when discovering the papers she showed were fraudulent.
