I had a feeling something was up.... :unsure: I thought I was the only one. I also received my first two touches over two days.

Anyone here try the RFE trick that the k-1r's are doing?

Seems that the CSC hasn't been sending RFE or approval emails or letters as they should be.

Just got an email from CRIS saying our application is now pending at the office it was transferred to (CSC).

What is this RFE trick of which you speak?

I cannot answer exactly how to do it because I too am wondering exactly how this "trick" is done, but I remember skimming through some posts and some people say that you call up the USCIS number and go through the "RFE" thing where you punch in the numbers it tells you to...I guess maybe you pretend that you got an RFE and then when you finally get to speak to someone, maybe you feel them out about an RFE.

Someone please correct me on this because I don't believe this is how the exact "trick" goes. Thanks!

That link above is what I found on what this "trick" could be. I just did it actually. I went through the RFE prompts and talked with someone live...I didn't get anywhere though! :( He told me that my case is still pending and that it hasn't been updated at all. He also told me that it was probably a computer glitch and that many people have been calling in to ask about the same thing. They are trying to fix it.

So maybe they are too busy trying to fix a "computer glitch" instead of looking over our petitions and issuing our NOA2s? Nice. :rolleyes:

Maybe someone else will have better luck with this "trick"!

I tried the "trick" today.... was also told that touches could have been either an officer looking at my file, or just a glitch.

Good news is that there isn't an RFE.

HOWEVER, about an hour after I called I received another touch.

looks like touches can be given when our file is accessed via computer also. -_-

also got another touch today...so there are several of us in the same boat or about the same...transferred the 11th (VSC to CSC_...touched 14th...touched 15th...pending at CSC update on the 21st...touched 22nd...touched 23rd...could it be that we are all in the same bin...and MAYBE an approval is on its way??? :) i really PRAY AND HOPE that an approval is on its way for me and everyone else here...honestly I am going crazy...everytime I see a touch and no update on the status I even go more crazy...lol...God spare us from this waiting pain and let us get our NOA2s!!!!! (inshAllah) good luck to all :)

sadly not yet...but i have a feeling (hopefully) that since we are all pretty close together in submitting our petitions and most of the february filers have been approved...that next week may be a week of good news (inshAllah i hope and pray for me and all of us) :) but with this holiday weekend coming up who knows what might happen?? God spare us all...let CSC send those approvals...pleaaaaaaaaaaase :D
