 I received an email with the case number, wich was a response for an inquiry I submitted on feb 14.

Depends on country usually they book you an interview. In 1-2 weeks 

You can call then after few days to see if you have interview date or not

I am confused. I called to the NVC and confirm I have a case number and invoice. But the lady said that I sill need to wait for a welcome letter. Can I advance at list with the agent an pay fee?

They told me the same , 

I was able to submit my DS-261. , But my iV fee didn't unlock until I got the welcome letter ,

You can definitely start whatever steps you can do right now online when you log in 

You don't have to wait for welcome letter

Hi Everyone,

After mailing financial and civil docs to the NVC, do I just sit tight and wait till I get an email for CC or do I call weekly to check on the progress? What is anyone's experience who has just submitted docs and gotten CC?

I also wrote there.  Today marks the end of week 4 since the case was received....

nothing yet i wrote there today so lets see if that helps. 5 weeks for me this thursday...

Happy to hear that, congrats! Unfortunately I have not received the case number yet...its over 7 weeks now since they received it. I called yesterday and the woman told me that it could take six weeks from when the supervisor review was added (which makes no sense...the whole point of the supervisor review is to get the case number faster!). So I'm still waiting patiently and checking my email, but nothing yet. And we are a CEAC case too.

haha yeah lady also told me supervisor has 6 weeks to review and it goes to them after 2 weeks so total would be 8 weeks to get case # lol

You can call after a week to get an idea about your scan date then you should call weekly there after to know how much progress they have made. Dont make the same mistake i made.

LOL...I think I laughed on the phone when she told me that, its so ridiculous!
