  Hi Everyone,

For those that already at case complete, I would like to ask that when you submitted documents to NVC, is there anyone who submitted just the W-2's and 1040's instead of transcript  that got approved? Your kind and urgent response would be appreciated.

Hi. Could you please describe the steps you took from receiving your case number to get everything done in the same day?

And when you sent papers did you do it by mail? or pivot case online submission?

Did you confirm your choice of agent over the phone . Please detail us to have an idea how to make it quick thanks

we have a pivot case which means we submit everything online. we got our number on friday the 16th. we paid both fees on friday- monday was a holiday - the money was taken out of the account on Tuesday - on Wednesday DS260 and the other documents (basically AOS and IV package ) became available. I submitted everything on Wednesday. it's really easy if you are prepared and have everything scanned and less than 2 MB.   You can upload additional documents if you want to and make comments if you need to explain anything. When I look at them right now there is a response area so when they are reviewed and accepted there will be a green "Tick" on the side of each document. I've seen people have a documentarily qualified ( CC ) after one week. So let's hope we have that too.

Currently it's taking anywhere between 6 and 9 months for the I-130 to be approved. If you complete your timeline, it will give you an estimated approval date.

Thanks for replying. So am gonna wait for them to reply or mail me? What if I haven't send the affidavit of support together with the I-130,We'll they still send me a message or something? Thank you so much

The affidavit of support isn't sent with the I-130. It's sent to the NVC after the I-130 is approved.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!
