That sucks for real. They take so much money , yet they cant get their Sh*** together. I have a 2nd scan date 1/24 and nothing yet.....

i called an hour ago and used option 5 and got connected in 5 min.

I was finally able to pay the AOS fee, submitted DS261 call NVC they reviewed over the phone.

 

Now im waiting for the IV Bill  etc.

 

Ive been trying to gather documents for when its time to send the AOS and IV package and im confused with the cover sheets. 

 

When i received the welcome letter theres a Affidavit of support invoice which has a barcode invoice number case number etc. When i made the AOS payment i was able to print a different one but it has a different invoice number than the one i received on the welcome letter. When you send these packages which barcoded cover sheet do you use for each package???

u can try but i think option 5 is for people using ceac website to upload documents...

Are you sure you didn't type in a wrong case ID first time you checked?

You can select which ever option gets you to a rep. I've done it and will continue to do so when ever i need to call and speak to someone and I was never told by any of the rep that I selected the wrong option. Its all the same

I called the NVC weeks ago, and they said they couldn't forward our case for interview without the document.  So, we brought the municipality birth certificate to the RENIEC (since the district doesn't have one), paid for that to go to Lima and waited until getting it back...all they did was put a sticker on the back in Lima and then somebody who works for RENIEC but isn't the Chief signed it. I called the NVC again today, and asked them if this new document would work. They said NO! Because it's still not issued by the district. I said I can't get the document and they said I could send what I had to get an interview, and then it would be up to the embassy if they wanted to deny my spouse. Should we be worried? The district simply doesn't have the birth certificate....the requirement is impossible.

no that means the 25th Jan is when they received it. I have to upload my documents too.

OK so we paid both of the fees on Friday and they got taken out from account yesterday and today it marked as paid and I was able to submit EVERYTHING. the DS260, the AOS documents and the IV package. it took some time especially the DS-260. All around very easy except it kicked me out of the system a couple of time. now let's wait for them to review it and give us a case complete and I hope soon since they owe me the time that I lost waiting for the case number.

As of November it was taking them just like a couple of days to review it and get a case complete so i'm curious to know how long it's gonna take now.

How long did u have to wait for ur case number for a pivot case? I am still waiting for mine.
