¿Cómo se determina la fecha de escaneo y qué es exactamente?

 

Llamé al NVC anteriormente y me dijeron que recibieron mis documentos I-864 / AOS  el 13 de febrero. Dijeron que les permitiera hasta 11 semanas que se les revisara y verificara. ¿Alguien tiene una idea de la hora actual o son 11 semanas correctas?

Your scan date (SD) is the day that NVC received your documents (February 13); from that date begins the wait for a Complete Case (CC)!!

Thank you very much for your reply. 

 

Scan date seems like an odd choice of words if all it means is that they received them. I had an image in my mind of them actually scanning the documents in to a computer.

La fecha de escaneo parece una elección extraña de palabras si todo lo que significa es que las recibieron. Tenía una imagen en mi mente de ellos escaneando los documentos en una computadora.

Oh and another thing, they tell you 11 weeks to give a longer term, but in these moments they have been completing cases in 4-8 weeks, everything depends on how lucky we're! lol

It is...my actual scan date was a couple days after they received my documents. It’s when they put your documents into their system.

Wow! called NVC today to get to the bottom of the Japanese Police report check list, apparently it's just to "remind me" to bring it to my wife's background check to her interview when its scheduled. I guess I was CC on the 14th of Feb. So I was a scan date of Jan 23. That's three weeks and 1 day. Good luck to all! so now, how often should I  call to check for an interview date?

Checked the site at 11:45 pm, and this is what I got!!! I called to confirm right away before it hit 11:59 pm. What’s crazy is that I called earlier around 6:30 pm, and the guy told me my case wasn’t even being reviewed yet.

 

 3 weeks and 6 days from sd! Thank you, Father in heaven!!!

Congratulations. I pray I get mine this week as well. second scan date 26th Jan. Moreover, I called they weren’t picking I think the agents were busy and the website isn’t coming up. Praying hard tho.

Hey guys congrats everyone who got CC today. Including myself. I guess 20th feb was the day for us. Anyways whats next now. Will the status change from "AT NVC" to some other?? Anyone experienced the next status change before the interview date comes??
