OMG OMG OMG. Still can‘t believe it but we got a case number. The welcome email followed right after the call. After almost 6 weeks we can start again. So happy. @truelove29 i guess they weren’t lying when they told me that they are workng on the cases that were received on the 8th. Hopefully you’ll have it very soon too. Let’s keep praying.

I just called to the NVC few minutes ago because its been 2 weeks today since they received the documentos from the USCIS, and on my second call, they asked me our names and the receipt number. He said he was going to write to the supervisor, but I don't know if it works. I hope I can get a case number very soon.

The fact that you were asked for your names and birthdays is good. It means that they actually put the file in the system and are working on a case number. Hopefully you will get it soon.

Congratulations! NVC received my case on January 9th and I still do not have a case number. I have been calling them for the last 3 weeks and all they do is ask for my name, DOB, beneficiary's name and DOB and then tell me they will transfer it to their supervisor to get the case entered in the system but it has still not happened yet.  Hopefully I will be receiving that Welcome Letter email soon!

Has anyone ever been told that their documents have been sent to the review department? If so, how long after that did it take for you to get a CC?

Cc usually comes 4 days to one week after going to the review department
