The interview is scheduled via the NVC.  We don't have any control over that, except to request for the soonest date from the NVC

I am confused . What does the welcome letter has to do with if you alreadt got case and iin already is not that all you need to precced ... why the letter is important

Because it tells when its ok to go ahead and start the process. Until thats generated the system is locked.

I was able to start the process before I received my welcome letter.

Reading along there are 50 50 some poeple say they only needed case number and they were able to start and others that system wont lwt you do it until letter is generated. Thats what confuses me . Does it depends on the kind of petition? Or is it the cosulate?

The AOS fee gets unlocked when the letter is generated but before that you could work on the agent form just with the case and invoice numbers.

2nd scan date is 1/24...waiting with you guys....I am waiting them to review two blank pages...The US government always amaze me.
