I am exactly in the same boat as you are. I talked to them today and he said you will get email and mail soon. Let me know if you hear anything from them in a day or two. My interview is on 14th March

Will do! I thought the email went into the junk but nothing there. When should the mail be rcieved?

He said soon but didn't give me exact time frame. Did you get email or mail after your case close at NVC

Oh ok. No I was waiting for that email since it’s been a week since my CC date. They said it usually takes a week so I decided to call and find out what happened to the email

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the visa after interview?

It depends on specific consulate of that particular country

I’m new in NVC processing stage. I called NVC today to know if they received the supporting documents. The customer service guy told me they received the package on 6th February. However I didn’t get any email yet.

What you guys mean by scan date? Is it an automated email from NVC starting that they have received the package?

Scan date is the day they input/scan your received documents into their system. You should have a scan date already, you can call back to get it.. Your 11 weeks countdown starts that day, Goodluck

February 6th is your scan date. Nvc won't send you anything telling you when they receive your financial and supporting documents you have to call them like you did to confirm it's been received. The date they told you that they received it is your scan date. Although it might have been delivered days earlier they will only tell you what date they scanned it into the system
