Yes, you need to get PCC issued from the passport office now, as you need to submit it to NVC when you submit all docuemnts. You can apply it on the online portal, and an interview will be scheduled. You will get the PCC from the passport office the same day. It's a pretty simple process.

Yes you need PCC for NVC stage. You can get from your local Passport office. When you get chance, please update your timeline here. Thanks

Hi, 

I have a question about Police certificate.

 

So, my wife's address was changed to my parent's address on her identity card after our marriage. She used to live in a different city. Police made a certificate of her current address, where she started living from 2017. It states she doesn't have a criminal record from 2017 to date. 

My question is: Will NVC (if they requested police certificate) or embassy would accept this police certificate even if just states the criminal background from 2017 onward?

Police from city where she used to live, denied making her a certificate because address is changed on her National Identity card.

Although police certificate has all mentioned adresses since birth till date. And every police station of every area verifies this and then the police certificate is made by capital city police. This is what happens in my country

I am also talking about Pakistan. I guess it is upto them what they ask for. But its better to have one.

Yes u will need pcc . You have to fill up the online form on passport Seva Kendra website . Take an appointment . And go to the office with necessary documents . After that local police will call you and ask u to visit police station . Once the police sends clear report , passport office will issue you pcc . ( You have to send that to petitioner ) . It took me 7-8 days depends on how quick local police is although
