It is fine that you filled as single in 2016, for 2017 taxes you should file as "married filing separately".

I just called and case closed 2/5 Anyone from pakistan can tell me how long until the interview date? I haven't received any mail yet.

Typically you should get case complete e-mail within a week. As far as interview goes sometimes they only schedule at end of the month. 

 

what was your scan date for NVC?

I got my CC email exactly 1 week of when it was completed.
