Mine was received on 1/29 so a week later than yours but I keep getting the standard 'it takes about 2 weeks to get a case number'...obviously it's been just over 2 weeks but still frustrating when you're still so excited from finally getting your approval and you just want to move forward with this part of the process. I'll be watching for your updates to see if any of you get the case number assigned soon.

I know, so frustrating! I’ll keep you updated.

On the 8th Jan.  Nothing yet. They told me yesterday that she could see that the supervisor got in touch with the case creating department about this case and they are building the necessary links.

Hi fellow Feb filers,

I need help urgently. I applied for the CR-1 for my husband last week. I accidentally used his old passport, it was not expired, he just had to renew the picture because he looked very different in the one in his passport. I completely forgot he renewed his passport. So the copy of his passport and passport number in the I-130 are the old one. What can I do to fix this?

I would say wait till you get your NOA1 and than call them with your receipt number. It is likely that they will ask you to re-submit I 130 form with new passport copy.

Hi everyone :)  I was wondering if anyone else has been waiting more than 2-3 weeks to get their IIN and case number from the NVC?  My NOA1 was Jan 2nd, NVC received it on Jan 22nd, and they still haven't assigned me an IIN and case number.  They're saying that on Feb 9th it was sent to a supervisor but nothing has happened since then :(  I'm calling daily just to check.  I'm hoping the rest of the NVC process isn't going to drag out as well.  Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Me too, NVC received mine 26 january, no IIN, yesterday when i call, they Tell me , received my case 13 february, the date have change, i dont understand NVC

Agreed. I did not do that either. I submitted police certificates for my husband and that was fine I received a checklist for not putting the date on  my i-864 and that's it . Court records isn't necessary unless it's country-specific or you are specifically asked for that. When you do your fingerprints for your police certificate it checks for all criminal background

SD of 1/22 got off the phone with NCV and they’re saying they haven’t reviewed my husbands police certificate now. When a couple of days ago they told me it was in review 😞 anyone have a CC close to my scan date?
