Your situation just crash my all hopes. I was waiting for email. But they did not schedule interview for islamabad embassy. I am feeling heart broken.

Aww I’m sorry...and hopefully we will get interviews soon. I’m going to call again since I have conflicting information from 2 different people but just not emotionally ready again to hear the answer.

Ok I called them again and the rep was super nice and explained what happened. I’ll try my best to explain. So basically Islamabad did not have electronic processing but now they have a new program that will tentatively schedule you in a slot but it doesn’t mesh with NVC’s system and they have to I guess make sure that cases are scheduled by case completes. So when I called on Monday the guy saw that it looked like I was scheduled and now NVC is going through their process of scheduling so it shows that we aren’t scheduled. He says that we may still get that same date and time if it’s available when it comes to our case. He said this has happened a few times now where people were told they were scheduled but really they aren’t.

They did the same to me. I cAlled monday they told me my spouse interview date at islamabad is on 1 march 8 am. Tuesday i cAlled and they said no interview. Not sure what is going on. Btw our cc is 12/29/17

I called them again and posted what the rep told me above. It sucks though. I’m just glad my vacation wasn’t approved yet because if it had been I would’ve bought a ticket because there are some great deals as of right now. Our CC is 1/18.

i usually buy tickers for $800-$900 ... i paid $1050 on Emirates .. LAX to Lahore

Last year my ticket was $1600 round trip. And I found tickets for $1000. I’ve been searching different dates and they haven’t been consistent in the prices. One search ranged from $1200-1900.

YES. The original signed copy must be taken to the interview. It's a legally binding contract.

Usually the signed original copy (in ink) that was submitted to the NVC is given to them. They do not want scanned copies they want the original.

I sent that copy to NVC. But for the interview, do I have to print out, fillup, sign again?
