Hi guys,

Would like to check on your application processing time updates for Dallas service center. Submit mine on Aug 4th 2017,  got EAD already and still waiting for the interview. Checked the processing time, they are processing cases on Dec 2016 !!! Should I go to the office and check for the processing time or submit the case inquiry ?!?

Generally there isn't any updates after biometrics is done and such.

We never had any updates until we just received green card in the mail. No interview.

You're well within normal processing times. Long as you said you got your EAD already, just relax and wait for any updates.

Wow, how lucky you are ! No interview. We are planning for a wedding in my country, read articles online and it said the green card should be done within 6 months,  we are so hopeless now, can't plan anything at the moment :(

Timeline generally has been about 12 months, some earlier, some longer.

Did you get AP? If you did AOS you should have applied for EAD and AP(advanced parole), you could leave the country and come back no issues. It's also free with the I-485 like the EAD is.

Also interviews aren't mandatory. Some have, some don't. I have heard, not that this is exactly 100% accurate; but each office/region has a requirement of so many interviews a quarter, if they hit their mark and you have no issues in your AOS packet, they can approve without one. That is something I heard, not again sure if it is accurate but something to consider.

No I didn't submit the I 131 as expected I will have it within 6 months, didn't think it will take forever like this. Think I should submit the AP now.
