HI, VJS

Last year my wife filed I-130 for me in sep 2006 and we got only one touched so far after NOA1 on 9th of sep 2006,after that we didnt get any thing.

my question is,

IS IT NORMAL PROCESSING TIME FOR I-130 OR DO I HAVE TO CONTACT USCIS FOR MY PETITION????

I-129F NOA1:5TH OF APRIL 2007 FROM MSC

I-129F TOUCHED: 10TH OF APRIL 2007

I-129F TOUCHED: 19TH OF APRIL 2007

I-129F TOUCHED: 25TH OF APRIL 2007 AND GOT EMAIL TRANSFER FROM MSC TO VSC FOR PROCESSING

I-129F TOUCHED: 26TH OF APRIL 2007

It seems slow. But now that you have filed a I-129F, and your petition is in Vermont, you should hope for I-129F approval in maybe 3-4 weeks. Would you opt for the K3 route? The main disadvantage is that you'd enter without work authorization, but could file for it soon after you arrive.

9-17-2007 K3 visa in hand
11-12-2007 POE Atlanta

8-14-2008 AOS packet sent
9-13-2008 biometrics
1-30-2009 AOS interview
2-12-2009 10-yr Green Card arrives in mail

2-11-2014 US Citizenship ceremony
