Any FB groups of people who came to US on K-type visas?

Hi everyone ,

 

I wasn't completely sure where to post this, but I'm wondering if there exists a FB group of people who came to US on K-type visas? Or basically any kind of group of people who moved to US and it's about supporting each other in the means of assimilating into culture. A place where you can ask how to get somewhere, where to buy something (I don't know certain food from your country or items from your part of the world or just in general where to get something), how to get around, how to set up certain things (bank account, work stuff)...basically a group who supports each other with basic life things here in US.

 

I love Visa journey but it's not as interactive and I spend much more time on FB than on my gmail and here. 

 

 

So if anyone know of any groups please post a link. Thank you

Look up local groups. Find one for your neighbourhood, and city. That would be more helpful then a general immigration group for what you are looking for. 

 

Someone in California is not going to be much good to someone in Florida. 

 

Plus you can always join the rant thread where we all kind of mesh together to complain  and relate to random crazy stuff.
