Calling senator because of no AOS or EAD updates

As for processing times when you are getting a request for evidence please see the following as this is straight from the USCIS website:

 

"A request for initial evidence can affect both processing and eligibility for interim benefits.

• Processing: Your case will be suspended, or placed on “hold,” as of the date of the request. The case will resume processing once the requested evidence is received. If you filed a petition properly, the priority date will not be affected by a request for missing initial evidence or request for other evidence.

 

• Interim Benefits: Interim benefits will not be granted based while processing your application is suspended. If you were previously granted employment authorization based on the same status, it may continue un-interrupted."

Yes I used tracking when I sent my RFIE evidence package, it was delivered Dec 11th and I have it confirmed from USCIS they received it and everything looks fine when they looked up my case. Would be nice though if they updated my online case status though!

 

I saw a lady post today that she received he combo card today, she pretty much has the exact same timeline as me +/- a day. And she got 3 RFE total!! I got only the one RFIE. She got approved Jan 30th.. so hopefully my turn is very soon..

I am in a similar situation. Just about half month before you. Also waiting for EAD.

 

Expedition was requested due to a job offer over a month ago. Still nothing.

I don't understand why you stress about this if you applied in November? Some of us applied in August and haven't heard anything since biometrics either.

Well I am just anxious and stressed out, I see plenty of late November filers already approved and I need to get to work.

The problem is you keep monitoring other people’s cases. That is only going to add to your stress. 

 

There will ALWAYS be cases much faster and much slower than yours.

Yeah, I just got "Card in production" notice online in the morning. Almost 1.5 months after expedition request...

Thank you very much!

 

The job offer still stands  They were willing to wait until next week. But now I told them the news and they are willing to wait a little more for the post office to deliver the card
