Hello all,

I'm sending our application tomorrow (HOPEFULLY) to Nebraska (then they'll forward it to CA). Do you recommend to send it FedEX or USPS express mail? If I use Fed Ex I use the private courier zipcode (which is diffferent from the other), right? Stupid question, but I'm just making sure! I'm sooo nervous and excited to finally get to this step!

Then I request a return receipt and that is what I'll use for tracking?

Can I copy the G-325a form for me and then sign each page with my original signature? (I used the carbon copy but it didn't go through well.)

I'm buying a place ticket tonight to visit my love in a few months! woohoo.

Thanks, Kristen

We sent our by USPS, so im not sure about the zipcode.

As for the G-325A, each of those 4 pages has a different number down on the bottom corresponding with where it is sent to. So to answer your question, no. You have to have all 4 original pages signed. Not 4 copies of page 1.

Send it thru USPS Express Mail with tracking number of course. FedEx does not deliver to P.O Boxes addresses.

You have to originally fill out and sign each page (4 pages), because copy goes to different department or section in the USCIS.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Use express or priority mail. The correct address is in the instructions. The easy way on the G325a is to use the fillable pdf. It populates the other copies when you finish the first.

Yes, request a return receipt through USPS (that is what I did and it got there within the 2 days). Filling and printing the 4 pages of the 325A online and signing and sending those with you original signature is the thing to do.

You CAN send Fed Ex (which doesn't require return receipt - you can track online). Just be sure to use the correct address for express mail as shown on their website:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00048f3d6a1RCRD

NOTE: If using overnight delivery by any private service provider, send your package to:

USCIS

Nebraska Service Center

850 S Street

P.O. Box (Insert Correct P.O. Box Number)

Lincoln, NE 68508

Be sure to include the appropriate P.O. Box number on the shipping label.

I sent mine via the United States Postal Service..... My packet was over 70 pages..and to send it in 2-3 buisness days, it only cost me around 5 U.S. Dollars. I also had mine signature guaranteed, so the USCIS had to sign for it, and I went online to the US Postal Service's website (save the receipt they give you...that's your tracking number) I sent it out on a Thursday..they had it Monday...and I got my verifications via email. So, there's really no sense in paying UPS or FedEx's prices when the U.S. Postal Service works just as well...only cheaper.

.......Oh... and about the forwarding to the California Service Center... that's what they did with mine. Since I live in Ohio, my service center would have been Nebraska...which is where I mailed it...like the directions state. They in turn forward it to California
