My husband attended his visa interview in November of last year but was issued 221g form to submit additional documents. Yesterday, he submitted the documents but they gave him another 221g form and was told that they will call him. They kept the original of the documents and gave him his passport back and phone records. What is going on???I'm a bit confused

Need more information before we can advise anything. What they requested for? And what is another 221g is all about? Any red flags?

During his interview in November, he only carried photocopies of the documents and not the originals. So, after the interview, CO gave him 221g form asking him to submit proof of relationship, birth certificate and marriage certificate. So, we had to wait for another appointment to drop off the documents after his interview in November. So, Tuesday, he dropped off phone records, pictures, chat records, money gram receipts, birth certificate, and marriage certificate. This time around he met someone different... The CO took all the documents from him and gave him back the phone records, pictures and passport and kept the other documents and told him that at this point, we don't need anything else but we'll call you when we're done with your case and was given form 221g. My husband asked, is there anything wrong? CO said No, but you're almost at the end so we'll call you. And that was it.
