that was definitely a racist thing to say. and that's a big reason why the black vote wasn't too enthusiastic about her. but i think she, at minimum, did apologize for those comments. although in my opinion, her apology was not sincere. something along the lines of, i should have used different words..

Seriously? Demographics in this country are going against the Republican Party. Trump's victory was it's last hurrah. Despite Trump's victory in the election he still had three million fewer people vote for him. The overall trend of this country future isn't right it's left. Millennials and Gen X are generally more liberal and Baby Boomers are generally more right. The Republican Party has to start embracing diversity because the minority will become majority in around 25 years I believe.

I agree with you that there are more and more lazy, self-indulgent people born in the last few years than in generations past.  Not sure they will take over, though.  Nature has a way of weeding out the weak.
