12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

I don't know why but I always think about how those people in Survivor ( i think that is the name of the movie where the plane crashed) could do it.

Yep great movie!! When i fly, i always check where the fat people are seated!!! (kidding)

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

i probably could... if it were a situation really like that movie? yeah i think i could. it would be gross, but i would if there was no hope and the person was dead anyway. being my husband, child, or mom....no. but some stranger? i think so. i wouldn't kill them though. :devil:

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

I think the immediate answer is no, from a social POV cannibalism is an obvious no-no. But you've got to consider that many of the people who have been in that situation and ended up doing probably started out thinking likewise.

Ever heard of Reptilian brain? Its that part of the brain we share with reptiles and can in some circumstances take over a person's higher (rational) functions. Creepy..
