NVC AND EMBASSY BOTH ASKING FOR SAME IV FEE?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might know the answers to a question which I have? I am uncertain of why the NVC asks for an IV fee of $335.00 plus the additional $45.00 and if you look under the instructions for IV interview at the NWD consulate, it too says you must bring your IV fee with you to the interview stating the exact same amounts!

For CR-1 Immigration Visa case, The IV Visa Fee is $380.00 which the choice of agent must pay at the NVC. If it is paid at the NVC, you don't pay it at the Embassy during the Embassy. The Embassy will already know that it was paid at the NVC.

I would suggest keeping the "carbon copy" of the certified check or money order and submit that with your documents for the final interview just in case they question it. I wouldn't thik they would question it, but it's better to err on the side of caution.
