This might be a little long so pls stay with me; I filed for aos from March 2014, recieved EAD August 2014...... interview December 2014 it’s been a down ward journey from there didn’t get anything till October 2016 that the I-485  was denied then filed the form I-290b in November 2016, meanwhile all I do is renew EAD which i have done about three times but the form I-290 didn’t do much good either, meanwhile from 2014 till date I have been btw 3 jobs, been homeless, lost everything, almost lost contact with my family. Still in a no good marriage, wife won’t sign divorce papers filed. Stay with me.

My last EAD expired July 2017, I submitted a new form I-767 been out of work since then, I filed for vawa form I-360 rfe requested two weeks later submitted ton S#% of evidence, August 2017 rfe recieved.......Since then it’s been a big SOUND OF SILENCE, I have written to the Vermont service center about three times already, nothing in return. But the thing here is I don’t know what to do, should I write them connecting all this dot or something. I urgently need help like a serious one.

Thanks for your patience, if you need to read it again pls do.

You do not need your wife to sign the divorce papers to get divorced.

it doesn't look good at ALL....

1- what was the reason they gave you for the 2014 interview?  were things sour with your wife back then?

2- You are currently trying to adjust from a non-existent marriage in terms of a couple and of course, if the USCIS knows this from 2 years is very likely they don't believe your marriage was a genuine one.

3- I don't know for how long you will get an EAD renewal and if you don't get this one you will be pretty much illegal.

I support what the other person say: your marriage is pretty much over, you have no job, is very likely you wont get an extension of the EAD, you have been homeless...instead of espending the little money you have left I think is a wise decision to go back with your family. I'm truly sorry you are going through this. I too, I was a beneficiary and I too left everything behind to follow my now husband...we risk a lot and I think is a fear for everyone whose a beneficiary as well.

I much rather be at home, in my country with my family and my friends than living in the situation you are currently living. I hope and pray you get out of this and anything that happens, hopefully will be the best for you.

Take care pal and wish you nothing but the best

As at that time, I thought it was love(***** that word by the way), and interview went south, question that requires a no brainer she was messing up, I got confused about what happen there then after the interview she said she was under pressure I believed her! But hey she turns out to be the most coldest narcissistic person ever, you know as an immigrant I felt that the only way I can sustain myself here is thru marriage; then I got stuck btw that marriage and immigration- looking back at it now it’s so stupid and I don’t regret any of it because it’s all about the way the learning curve was graphed.

On the other hand, it’s all over.

Thanks for your time and I will try to keep the post updated.

Well, is as bas as I thought it was. The IO probably though that your marriage was fake as she wasn’t able to answer simple questions regardless of how nervous she was. So the possibilities of your adjusting successfully are close to 0, specially when in real life your marriage is over...Im truly sorry you are going through this, I cannot imagine your pain. I think honestly the best thing for you is to come back home and start a new chapter, a new and happy one. Just because you had a bad experience doesn’t mean love isn’t real. I hope you find peace and happiness again.

think about it...
