I agree: TGIF!!! Not that I have anything overly taxing to do Monday - Friday anyway, but from this evening until Monday morning at least I get the husband alllll to myself. Woohoo! No weekend plans other than just to have a pretty lazy one, I think - no stepdaughter this weekend, and nothing planned at all. Is going to be fun!

Happy Friday, everyone. Let's see more AOS/EAD (perhaps even AP) action... Jessipooh's EAD touch (yay!) proves they do actually work on EADs sometimes....

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

NY will be fun! No major plans for us this weekend- it was hubby's sister's 21st birthday on Wednesday so I am still recovering from that

In the meantime I am about to trek over to the post office to mail my EAD and AP....that extra expense really hurt!! Damn background check!!!

Happy Weekend Everyone!!

Hi BB and others,

We are thinking about making an infopass appt as well and I wanted to know what is the best reason to pick in the choices they give. The obvious stuff like having waited more than 90 days for the EAD isn't open to us. Basically, my choice is between:

1. To ask a question about my case; or

2. To speak to an immigration officer.

We want to ask about our case - see where it is - in MSC or in LA, see if there is any feedback on the EAD processing, and generally get an idea of where we stand. Is there a real difference in picking either "question about my case" or "to speak to an immigration officer"? Of course we want to speak to someone...

Any advice on infopass appts is appreciated!!

Cheers, Cardamom

25 Sept 2009: Biometrics appt - quick, easy...done

Hey Cardamom,

When I went earlier this week I chose the 'speak to an immigration officer' choice and it worked out just fine!!

Good luck!
