We're hoping that the EAD will be approved by the end of the month.

Could be - since we live in Orlando. They have a record of longggg waits.

I'd hope we wouldn't have to have another interview (since we just had the K1 in March).

Finally some movement. All 3 AOS were transferred to California on July 5th.

I-129F sent: August 18th, 2006

NOA2: October 2nd, 2006

Packet 3 returned to Mtl: October 26th, 2006.

Medical: January 10th, 2007

Interview: January 23rd, 2007, at 2:30. APPROVED

Entry to the US: Feb 28th, 2007 POE Ivy Lea

Married: March 2nd, 2007

AOS/EAD sent May 4th, 2007

NOA1s for all 3 AOS and my EAD May 14th, dated for May 10th

EAD touched May 28th,29th, 2007, Youngest daughter's AOS touched May 29th, 2007

Biometrics: May 30th, 2007

All cases touched May 31, 2007, June 5th, 2007, August 1st, 2007

All 3 AOS transferred to California July 5th, 2007

EAD Approved July 27th, 2007

Finally movement on my AOS, touched on Feb 22 & 24th

GC May 11 2008, date of april 29th on them.

When applying for my husband's EAD I put that we were filing as A 6 and NOT A 9.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :bonk::oops::protest::ranting:

Now I'm afraid that they could issue the EAD but by now it'd expire since my husband's visa has expired.

However, since I sent it with the AOS I hope it's ok...but I'm worried.

I'm going to call USCIS and am trying to make an INFOPASS appt ASAP.

I hope everything is ok :crying: - but I'm worried!

Did you take the 7/19 appointment or not? I would if I were you, I mean it does seem like it's a long wait, but it's really only a week and a half. Plus, you could have a new form filled out and ready to go if you're told to re-apply. That way, you can have it mailed out the same day or the following day so that you beat the fee increase. I know the timing sucks, actually the whole thing sucks, but isn't it better to take that appointment as the availability date is only going to go farther down the calendar... :unsure:

So, if worse comes to worse and we have to apply - at least we'll avoid that increase.

But...that means that my husband would have to wait another 3 months (possibly) - that is what my greatest fear is.

I was told that it's possible that USCIS noticed that problem and fixed it.

My husband already did biometrics so I don't know what they'd do if we had to reapply.

We'll see.
