July 2, 2007, 12:10 PM EDT - Dept. of State has revised its July Visa Bulletin to reflect that all available employment-based immigrant visas have been allocated for fiscal year 2007.

As a result, beginning today, USCIS is rejecting applications to adjust status (I-485) filed by aliens whose priority dates are not current under the revised July Bulletin.

U.S. immigration law limits the number of employment-based immigrant visas that may be issued each fiscal year.

What the hell does this mean :help:

hey guys ignore what i wrote before about i 485 I swear to god ever since i started preparing my papers to send in i Have been losing my mind.

Its either that or being around my 2 and 3 year old all day.

but the cool thing about this whole experience is that i would never complain about is that i would never complain about being at work again. Also i love to read about everybody triumphs on their journey to get there GC i get a lil more comfortable knowing I have someone i can relate to.

P.s. sorry for the bad typing my daughter wants to sit in my lap and hold my face saying boom "really loud" like what she heard at the fireworks show yesterday. For those who don't have kids they are lil :innocent::devil: 's at this age but they get a free ride because they make you feel like  inside when they do something sweet. My son gave me his m&m when he saw that i was down my daughter kissed my shin when she bumped it with the steel tonka truck.

That employment-based AOS fiasco doesn't really involve us, but it's pretty bad. USCIS said there were a bunch of numbers available, so everyone spent the money to file and hire lawyers and stuff, then USCIS revised the numbers and all these people were summarily rejected.

Congrats, jon_tv!! :)

And what my heart desires right now is a little touch, preferably with a change of status to 'pending at CSC', although I doubt that'll happen for a few days. Was wondering if the transfer notice might come in the mail today, but nope... all we got was some stupid magazine full of coupons. Bah!!!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
