Good morning all.

Hoping to see more touches and transferts and approvals this weeks! :thumbs:

Good morning to everyone. I am new to this site and applied for my AOS in May - see my time line below. I wanted to see if anyone is in the same situation as me? I had my Biometrics on June 15th, immediately after I had touches on both my I-485 and I-765..... since then nothing! Its as though they've just stopped doing anything to my files. I see from others that they either got transfered or a letter from their local office for an interview. Is it normal to wait this long before hearing something, should I start worrying?!!

5/16/07 – Mailed Applications I-130 / I-485 / I-765

5/17/07 – USCIS received application in Chicago Lockbox

5/21/07 – Received receipts for applications

5/24/07 – Received notice for Biometrics appointment at Newark ASC

6/15/07 – Code 3 Biometrics taken @ Newark ASC

6/15/07 – I-485 / I-765 touched

6/18/07 – I-485 / I-765 touched

A lot of people don't have any touches until they are approved. Until you reach your "91st" day since your NOA1 for your EAD, there really isn't anything you can do but sit and wait... Good luck to you and welcome. ;)

Update!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

I received a letter today saying my AOS has been transferred to CSC!!!!!!!

No touches, no e-mails, so I thought it would be an interview letter.....but when I read Transfert notice I jumped in my husband's arms and accidentaly hit his nose :blush: Ok I was happy. No interview!! I made up for hit and cooked him a good lunch and I had fresh banana bread still steaming from the oven :luv:

Edit: Forgot to mention Ive been transferred on June 28th.

Nice. Looks like we're DFL on this list of May filers. :dance:

Last (only) update for all our docs was 6/19 and 6/20, but that might have just been because we changed our address.

I know the expected delay for an RFE is always case-by-case, but ours was succinct and we replied with exactly what they needed in one day back on May 18th.

Does anybody know if a change-of-address affects your processing time? I tried looking through forums on this before, but couldn't find an answer.

4/25 - overnighted packet to Chicago (130, 485, 765, 131)

5/01 - NOA date

5/18 - RFE received for 485

5/19 - biometrics appointment

5/21 - overnighted RFE documentation to Missouri

5/24 - notification that response to RFE received

6/14 - changed address on-line, then called

6/18 - mailed I-865

6/19 - all touched

6/20 - all touched

7/06 - notification AP and EAD approved

7/16 - AP letter and EAD card received

9/23 - AOS Interview letter received for 10/29

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
