Has anyone read of cases where USCIS worked on both the EAD and the AOS at the same time? Oddly worded I guess, but there have been no touches on our EAD since June 11th which is when they touched both our AOS and EAD and notified us of our interview for AOS. Just beginning to wonder if they are even working on our EAD application...

I was wondering the same thing during my application, turns out they were NOT working on EAD or AP. However I imagine if there is a serious holdup on your AOS, the EAD would resume.

Congrats on transfers, interviews... and congratulations again, BB, on possibly the fastest green card approval and receipt I've seen!

Nothing to report here... waiting for that post-biometrics touch, but nothing so far...

Heya NOA twin sista :)

My biometrics were on June 21, got the post touch on the 24, if it can help ya :)

Hey you!! :);)

Thanks for that... nothing yet, so maybe today or perhaps I'll see one of those mysterious Sunday touches! I was most disappointed to wake up this morning and find that my dream of checking the USCIS site and seeing I'd been transferred to CSC was just that - a dream. Ridiculous to be dreaming about this stuff!!

Hoping to see more good news around here today... that grid of ours is starting to look pretty good!

That was sort of my sense, because they are so backed up, if they believe you will get your AOS within the 90 day time frame it makes some sense for them to not process EAD and AP to save time and work on cases who will need them.

We are very happy to have our early interview date, so not really too crushed about the EAD process apparently being on hold, but still curious.

One more huge congrats to you BuxtonBabe!

I don't remember seeing that on ours, but I didn't look that closely. Premium Processing usually referrs to something to do with work visas/green cards. If you get a visa/green card through an employer they can pay extra for faster processing (too bad we can't do that, hurumph). So I'd guess it has to do with that, but maybe someone else has a better idea.

Mornin' May Filers!

I woke up to a touch today... Anyone else?

Yup! Well, I checked early this morning and there was nothing... then again a few minuets ago and the AOS & EAD have both been touched. That'll just be the biometrics, though...

Your touch, on the other hand, is an exciting thing!! :)
