I AM happy for everyone and their touches... :)

However, I'm frustrated that we haven't been transferred) or even touched since biometrics.

We mailed out my husband's paperwork on May 1st.

I wish that we knew something... :clock::cry:

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

Yay - our little grid is filling up, I think almost half of us have *something* in the transfer/interview columns now. I've got my biometrics appointment today, so hoping for at least a touch or two shortly afterwards!

Oh, and Bora Bora... I have my fingers crossed for you that you'll hear something good SOON! And good luck to the lot of us... :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I recieved something from my email...here;

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing.

On June 21, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

Got my SSN

had my immunization info transferred in I-693a thank God!

May 11, 2007-AOS mailed

May 13, 2007- item was delivered in CHICAGO IL

May 16, 2007- AOS/EAD NOA recieved

June 2, 2007- Biometrics Appointment Date

June 21,2007-AOS transferred to California Service Center

July 10, 2007-I-485 Card production Ordered

July 11, 2007-Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

July 13, 2007-Approval notice sent- I-485

July 19, 2007- Green Card Arrived! Wooohooo!

July 24, 2007- I passed my driving written test!

August 22, 2007 Passed my road test and started my work!

April 2009- Removing Conditions Applied

September 11 -got my 10 Year green card! yahooo!

December 2010- Apply for Citizenship

I'm nervous for mine, in a couple of hours... will report back as soon as I'm home!! Don't know why I'm nervous, it all sounds very simple... am worrying that I'll do something idiotic like forget to take the appointment letter (which is for an entirely different city, but they told me at Infopass just to bring it on the specified day & date to my local office here), my ID, something vital like that... sigh!

Hope yours goes well, and that stuff starts happening for both of us soon afterwards! I know I'll be checking for touches like a madwoman... :unsure:

@ Bora Bora, I feel your fusteration. We have not been touched since shortly after our biometric appointment either. I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us and everybody else that is waiting!

Now where is my husbands EAD?? lol

Ok so NOW I get an email. I had a moment of panic/ excitement thinking it was something serious. But they were just letting me know they actually received the RFE info and my case is back to being processed, still at National Center.

I really hope what I sent is acceptable.

Is it true what the RFE letter says about EAD 90 days starting over with RFE?? I feel so behind :crying: But Arazia you give all us RFEers hope!

Started our visa journey applying for K-1: Oct 11, 2006

Interview at CDJ, K-1 visa granted: Feb 13, 2007

Married: Apr 13 2007

AOS approved: Aug 29, 2007

I-751 Lifting Conditions approved: Aug 8, 2009
