Hey Everyone!! I have been away from the internet for a few days and haven't really kept up on what's been going on here. But I would like to add here that today on the 26th of June, I got an email from the USCIS page that says that my case got transfered to the California center, here is some of what it said:

On June 26, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

so there you go, there is my update!

Just got our Interview date for the AOS! August 23!

Is that it? Or do we get transferred somewhere? Is it possible to get an RFE or have something else happen now that we have our interview date? How long after the Interview will my husband get approved for his greencard? I thought it would be a while and it would get sent to california or something before we got an interview....

@BlueRain77:Congrats on receiving your interview notice! If the Immigration officer is satisfied with the evidence you provide at the interview and your husband's name check is done he will probably get approved at the interview. After the interview it usually takes a couple of weeks for the greencard to arrive in the mail.

... and to add to what Silke said: no, your case won't be transferred to CSC if it's been sent to your local office and you have an interview date. Oh, and congrats!!! :dance:

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
