This is a good question.

I want to apply for AP for my husband because I want to go to Brazil in December. But he says it's ok if we don't go - he doesn't want to spend unnecessary money. (Although it's not much compared to AOS).

I'm a teacher and on summer vacation, so I'm working a (fun/good pay) summer job so it's not too hard for us financially now. However, I hate seeing my husband bored at home, wanting to work...

I would love to file AOS before the fee increase but I can't because I won't qualify financially. My sister lived with me 2006 and I used her and my niece as dependents and that raised my requirement :crying: So I have to wait until my hubby can work so that I can use his income and qualify :crying:

Just posting up today's list. Added one person from the 'April' filers that falls into May so we have a better view of things going on in the earlier part of the month.

Hubbie is enjoying his first week at college. He likes one teacher's teaching style, and hates the other. I feel kind of like a clutz because I can't help him with most of his homework, and I'm a college graduate. We're still waiting for our application to be received by CSC. I'll admit to getting antsy about it. :whistle:

Sorry if I mis-phrased, but that is what I am waiting for. We haven't received the e-mail yet. After Buxton babe posted that they got their email yesterday, I've started checking mine more often today. Both of our applications were transferred on the same date. So... I'm hoping we get an e-mail sometime today or tomorrow.

I'll be leaving in a bit for my 'ok, so I'm a bit dim, any chance of getting my biometrics done here instead of in Columbus?' infopass appointment... will report back on how that goes! :blush:

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Oh okay. Well I got the email saying it was being transfered on 5/21 then got the pending email on 5/31.

He's taking intermediate algebra (he needed a refresher course in math), and sociology. He got to talk about the differences between Holland and the U.S. in that class today, from what he tells me.
