I would make infopass asap!!! I wouldn't be so patient!!! I would track what happened with my case. You are loosing your precious full life time, because of this.

We got RFE too, but after they got them back, in touch it says they will contact me within 60 days. And they stop your EAD for 90 days, but once they get back RFE, they should process your AOS just as it should be going on.

funny thing is- it said that abt EAD, but then EAD was recieved mid-April! :blink: now just waiting on AOS... I'll call abt an infopass appt. Thanks! :thumbs:

No more touches today (or yesterday) - bah! I was enjoying all that touching that was going on!

Having got the NOA for my I-485, I just went to get a state ID card. I asked about learning to drive, as well, and the woman said that instead of a 'regular' state ID card she'd give me a 'temporary instruction' one - not sure if they're all like that. It appears to be valid until next May (hooray) - hopefully when I take my test (getting ahead of myself here, I have to learn first!) that might stop me running into I-94 expiry date troubles.... or maybe not!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Yay - congrats!!

Just this second got a call from my m-i-l, she got home just now to find a biometrics appointment letter waiting for me. June 27th, 2pm... perfect timing, 'cos it is (as I suspected) in Columbus, not Cincinnati, and I have no idea how I'd have made it for one of those 8am appointments! My lovely husband (L) just said he'll take a half-day and drive me there, although I'm inclined to catch the Greyhound up there so he can save his precious vacation days!!

Good to see we're all moving along nicely - long may it continue! (Well, 'short' would be even better than 'long', but you all know what I mean....) :thumbs:

@Steve-n-Ana: Sorry to year you're a June filer instead of a May. It seems like the cut-off receive day was the 25th. Good luck to you!

@ali1978: I would need more information from you to add you to the list. What day did USCIS receive your EAD application? Have you gotten an NOA1 notice or a biometrics appointment?

In general, I removed anyone who I haven't heard back from with dates, or anyone who sent their application after the 25th. If for some reason their NOA1 dates still put them in May, I'll be glad to re-add them.

We recieved an RFE dated june 1st for w-2,s, and 1099,s. Guess I'll have to send these kind folks more reading materials.
