Hi everyone... forgive me please for busting in on the "May filers" thread, but I can't seem to find a "January filers" thread and we are *still* waiting... yes, still. Filed Jan 29, 07 and our last touch was 4/26. We had an RFE on some tax documents which I promptly returned to them but nothing since then.... :help: I know this isn't way out of the scope of it all, but I'm really hoping something comes up soon. Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks!

Who? me ;)

Hi Who?,

Did you try for an infopass appointment or call the USCIS 1800 number?

no, I haven't... I'm under the impression that it's still in the "3month" zone - at least since our RFE. I guess they could just tell me to call later if they can't help me now! Thanks.

Who? ....

Who?,

I'd give it a try, an infopass appointment or call. Some people got valuable info others didn't. Nothing to lose to try.

I called USCIS to give me a peace of mind one time (when I have not heard anything from them after my biometrics), and for me, it wasn't a waste of time. I got real answers. But it might depend on the person you get to talk to and the line of questions you'll ask (try to get away from answers like "I am not authorized to give you that info).

Good luck!

I cracked hubbies car!:cry:

What a bad day :crying::crying: :crying:

(I was backing in dark, and there where never ever was anything, was big car overleft metal junk. But it was very strong bump. Lights are all working, hope gas tank is not leaking.) :bonk:

I am so sorry to hear about this- at least you're OK! Don't be too hard on yourself...accidents happen! And you've already taken your lesson out of the experience, which is great!

Happy Birthday, Jashley820!!

Thanks! My husband got me a new mountain bike for my birthday, and we just went on a 20 mile bike ride!! We got caught in a thunderstorm, it was soooo cool!

!!!! :o That storm (if you got caught in the same one that was storming away above here about an hour ago) was pretty impressive - not sure I'd like to have been out cycling in it! But yay for getting a mountain bike for your birthday (I sold my bike before I moved over here, and can't wait to get a new one!), and happy birthday!!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Thanks! I did just try (& will again when I have more time) and all I was able to get was the automated response of "your case was transferred from MSC to CSC and you will be notified by mail, blah, blah, blah! I'll call again when I have time to stay on the line and try to get a human. Thanks again...

Yep that was the one! We were on the 50-mile bike trail that runs from Milford to who knows where.....we only went for 10 miles each way. We were cycling like crazy to beat it out but we got poured on! It was a blast though and great exercise!

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes!

Happy Friday!
