I know what you mean Arazia.

He studies English, goes to the gym, volunteered a bit with me during the school year.

I'm on summer vacation (from school - I'm a teacher) so we hang out more which is great for us!! This week I'm taking a stupid class through my county but besides that we're enjoying our time together.

He wants to work to help me out - to 'take care' of me - you know how it is...he's a man (L)

Updates.

Just something to keep in mind: Folks who had their checks cashed in June, probably also have NOA1 dates in June. So, unless you're on the borderline (checks cashed June 1st/2nd) then I'd consider checking out the June filer's thread, since you'll probably end up part of that group. Untill people let me know for sure what their NOA1 dates are, I'll leave them on my list, though.

No touches for us lately. Back to the waiting game.

Hi,

Finally my checks were cashed, there are some numbers behind checks, like MSC<10 digits>, is it the number to check your case online? each check has different numbers? I tried these numbers, and none of them work. Any idea?

Thanks,

Kaan

When I got my receipt numbers, it turned out they weren't the same as the ones on the backs of the cheques. They weren't far out though... the cheque for the I-485 had MSCxxxxxxxx56 on the back, the one for the I-765 had MSCxxxxxxxx57, and the one for the I-131 had MSCxxxxxxxx58. None of those numbers worked.... but the receipt numbers turned out to be a little further on in the sequence - MSCxxxxxxxx59, MSCxxxxxxxx62 & MSCxxxxxxxx63. Those numbers didn't work until a couple of days after the cheques were cashed, though - until that point, they brought up the usual error message. If the numbers on your cheques don't work, you might find that your receipt numbers are actually a couple of digits different... probably best to just wait for the NOA to save yourself going crazy checking the numbers constantly, but I wasn't patient enough to do that!

Anyway, glad to hear the cheques have been cashed! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

*nods* It's good he's keeping himself active. Mine doesn't start going to school until next week. He always feels guilty when I spend money on his education, because he's the guy and he's supposed to be the one taking care of me.

Men. Psh. :innocent:

I have the same issue with my hubby. He feels useless right now. In fact, he is in Mexico for a few days from how bored he is lol. He didnt last long away from me though and will be headed back tomorrow. I want to enroll him in a English as a Second Language at our community college. We'll see.

What's frusterating about the touch is that I wasn't touched AFTER the Biometrics but before we even did it (same day but before we went). Unless it was touched later that day and the date didn't change.....I hate this waiting game lol.

Do you need AP (Advanced Parole) if you are here on a K3 and cross the border/ go abroad? Just curious.

We had both sets of biometrics done today. We walked up and showed both appointment letters and they stamped both and took full fingerprints.

So now we will sit backand hope for touches.

Ps: BB passed her driving test today, and managed to get it in her married name. They took away her identification card, one cannot have both.

I will really have to do a better job of reading all th USCIS documents again. Today after the driving test I drove across town (16 miles) to have the Biometrics taken at the Tampa office of DHS. Just before we arrived I checked the address again and fount out it was within half a mile of where the driving test was taken, back the other side of town.

While doing the K1 I had read everything over and over. I have become lax now I am married.
