AOS/EAD May filers

Hi,

I sent my application on May 24th, Thursday, and it arrived there on May 26th, Saturday. I know that last Monday (May 28) was memorial day, my checks havent cashed yet and I havent got any response from USCIS!!

Because it was Memorial Day weekend when you sent in your application, I wouldn't worry too much yet. There was no holiday when we filed and our check was cashed 8 days after they received our application. I would say, for now, you should wait a few more days, I'm sure you'll get something in the mail and/or your checks will be cashed. Try not to worry too much. I know, easier said than done.

I just started to get all my paperwork together for Wednesdays Biometrics appointment. I asked my bride for the interview letter, upon which I was shown ANOTHER Biometrecs appointment. So my Biometrics appointment for wednesday is for I765, and the second Biometrics appontment on June 27th is for I485. We were not fully aware that we would be getting seperate BIO appointment letters for AOS, AP, EAD.

Please update our record by cancelling the interview date. I hope more will be revealed on Wednesday afternoon when we turn up for the first Bio appt.

I just wanted to share my excellent mood. There is no special reason for this. Only that I had my biometrics today, and atmosphere was truly free and nice. I felt like in holiday today.

Is there anybody among MAY Filers who is changing status from F1,H1 etc. ? Anybody who has been already living in US before getting married?

I want to be approved w/out one because I don't want stress, or to look for a translator, or have it scheduled during the time we're going to NY for my sister's wedding....

I just started to get all my paperwork together for Wednesdays Biometrics appointment. I asked my bride for the interview letter, upon which I was shown ANOTHER Biometrecs appointment. So my Biometrics appointment for wednesday is for I765, and the second Biometrics appontment on June 27th is for I485. We were not fully aware that we would be getting seperate BIO appointment letters for AOS, AP, EAD.

I am sorry about this. But I have heard before about cases, when people have different biometric appointment for each form. It is weird tough. Probably papers went some odd way inside USCIS is all and you got 3 appointments.

I would try to contact them and find out about possibility to fix it. In biometrics appointment they offer possibility to reschedule appointment. Maybe you can try to get somehow this all in one day. Hope you don't have to travel far.

I wonder if they'll do all your biometric needs if you bring both biometric appointments letters with and ask nicely.
