Well.... still no receipts here, but I rather impatiently called USCIS to 'check whether my receipts had been mailed' and they have confirmed that yes indeed, they were mailed on May 31st, and the nice man told me my receipt numbers - they are indeed the ones that I suspected they might be (ie the only ones in the sequence immediately following the numbers on the backs of my cheques that actually brought up anything on the USCIS site!!)

So, I've just snuck in as an official May filer, I guess - my notice dates are apparently May 31st. :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Hi Arazia My NOA1 was received on 06-01-07 Thanks!!!!

Winter: Again, not the date it was -received- the notice date on it. You got it in the mail on 06-01-07, but what is the date notice date on the NOA1?

Oh I'm terribly sorry, there are so many messages on here that I didn't see it, the notice date on the NOA1 is 05/23/07 and also I got my biometrics appointment for the 5-6-07 that was fast. It's so good to be around other may filers.

Hi,

I sent my application on May 24th, Thursday, and it arrived there on May 26th, Saturday. I know that last Monday (May 28) was memorial day, my checks havent cashed yet and I havent got any response from USCIS!!

Because it was Memorial Day weekend when you sent in your application, I wouldn't worry too much yet. There was no holiday when we filed and our check was cashed 8 days after they received our application. I would say, for now, you should wait a few more days, I'm sure you'll get something in the mail and/or your checks will be cashed. Try not to worry too much. I know, easier said than done. ;)

P.S. OMG, OMG, OMG, good that I checked. I thought my biometrics is Wednesday, not Tuesday. :o

Me poor European, - always I mess up month with day (we write day and then month), and calendar (our week starts with Monday, not Sunday). Now we have to change plans quickly. Good I notice! :blush:

Arazia kindly update my timeline. I already got my NOA1 in the mail and the date is May 30, 2007. So that rely makes me belong to this group.. The RFE, I was expecting for my A# didn't come, instead they gave me a new A#.. Imagine my relief!!! Hopefully all will be well and no other reasons for them to put me on RFE...

Haven't received the hard copy NOAs yet, but they were apparently mailed on May 31st (that said, they may have arrived at my m-i-l's today, haven't talked to her yet, but I'm sure she'll call as soon as anything appears!)... but a nice man at USCIS actually told me my receipt numbers, which was very nice of him! :)

Oh, glad to see you got your NOA rather than your petition returned for lack of NOA - hmm, I've seen people ask about what to do when they end up with more than one A# on here in the past, but can't for the life of me remember what the answer is... you might want to check to see if you need to tell USCIS your original A# or something... I'm sure someone around here will know.

Please update mine, I just received my interview letter a few minutes ago (my hands are still trembling as I type this :D )

Yay - congrats! Were they trembling as in 'please don't let this be an RFE, please please please'...?? I'm glad it wasn't! :)
