@winterr: Do you have your name on your mailbox? Yesterday I heard from someone else here on VJ that she didn't receive her NOA for weeks simply b/c her name wasn't on her mailbox. She found out through an infopass appointment. I hope you will get your NOA soon. To all have us, have a smooth journey!

That would make no sense, because i live in an apartment and the mailbox has number on it for each apartment, they dont have the room to put the names on it and so far we have received the NOA for the sponsor's change of address.

Must depends on what kind of place you are living in, but i cant imagine they would do that in apartments.

No NOA for me yet but Chicago received my papers on May 25 if you want to update

THx

I can only tell you what the other VJ member was told at her infopass appointment. When we started this process, I wrote our name on a piece of tape and put it on the inside of our mailbox, just to be sure.

Ok I do apologize for my ignorance.....there was a label in the very back of my mailbox with our family name on it :bonk:

But on a better note: There was my NOA1 in there!!!! Notice date: May 30, 2007

and they cashed the money on the 31st.

Congrats, Mephys!! Hmm, since we filed on the same day, and both had our cheques cashed on the same day... perhaps I can look forward to an NOA date of May 30th, too - hopefully the m-i-l will call tonight with some 'news'!

Hmm, I didn't have any luck trying the cunning trick with the receipt numbers - I guess mine just haven't gone into the system yet. Not that I'm getting hideously impatient or anything, oh no, not me...

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Hey everyone!

We had a touch yesterday - the day after our biometrics - but nothing for today...

Let's hope things move along quickly.

After reading your posts about I-129F vs. AOS I remembered though that I couldn't make out the case numbers on these cashed checks like I could the I-129F - but you're right, they are similarities.

The only thing is - we're togetherrrr.

Very true - I'm in no great rush to get back to work either, we should relax and enjoy it while we can! And yup, it's the being-together-in-the-same-place-at-long-last bit that matters, the (very minor) NOA-fixating this time (and the online case status checking that I'll be doing repeatedly once they're actually showing up on there) are just something to do this time round, with none of that 'is it just me or is time passing so slowly that it might just be going backwards?' feeling that accompanied the NOA2 wait! Any obsessing about NOA arrivals and suchlike that I'm doing right now is what passes for a hobby now that I'm a temporary lady of leisure!:lol:
