@winterr: Do you have your name on your mailbox? Yesterday I heard from someone else here on VJ that she didn't receive her NOA for weeks simply b/c her name wasn't on her mailbox. She found out through an infopass appointment. I hope you will get your NOA soon. To all have us, have a smooth journey!

I'd heard about that, too, although mostly from the discussion of people not getting their greencards when mailed. I've never had trouble with my mail, and there are no names on the mailboxes. We've never had to add anyone to the mail-box or posted any names. But I guess it depends on your area. Better safe than sorry.

I think if I put names on our mailbox it would just confuse the poor mailman though. We get mail for me, my husband, my mom, my dad, my brother, my roommate, and occassionally my ex-boyfriend (who hasn't lived here for a long time). I think the mailman would come up, look at the list of names, go 'screw checking all of this', and shove it in the box without a second thought.

Well... Biometrics Ready! Was fast and easy. Just some little problems whit the scanner of the bar code in my appointment letter but at the end everything was perfect.

Updated again, since we had a few changes just today. I also added a column for 'transfers' which will be the date that any files get transfered to CSC. Yes, there's a thread solely for that, and people should use it if they get transferred, but it's a nice informational thing for the rest of us, as well.

That would make no sense, because i live in an apartment and the mailbox has number on it for each apartment, they dont have the room to put the names on it and so far we have received the NOA for the sponsor's change of address.

Must depends on what kind of place you are living in, but i cant imagine they would do that in apartments.

No NOA for me yet but Chicago received my papers on May 25 if you want to update

I can only tell you what the other VJ member was told at her infopass appointment. When we started this process, I wrote our name on a piece of tape and put it on the inside of our mailbox, just to be sure.

I also live in apartments and yes the # of the apt is on the outside but on the inside on the wall or door or somewhere is a lil tab/tape with last names for tenants. Check to see if yours is on there.
