Yea, now that our a bunch of us are getting our biometrics done - it's time for some approvals.

@arch and cel: In additon to what I said earlier about the NOA issue, make sure you have your name on your mailbox! Just today I heard from another person here on VJ that she didn't receive her NOA for weeks simply because her name wasn't on her mailbox. Similar to your case, her checks got cashed and then she didn't hear anything from USCIS. Today she went for an infopass appointment and found out the reason why she hadn't gotten her NOA. Maybe you already have your NOA by now. Let us know :thumbs:

When I went home...*sigh*...i received RFE like Arazia and Gustahot...

I dunt know what i have to do....and i tried to understand...this is just the proses..*even i feel terrible*

please guyz..if someone already got through this situation, help me...

I sent all of my husband Tax papers...

Lucky_star, Just send everything again. Take care to send all W2 forms you have, plus 1099 forms if you have any bank account that give you some interest profit and obviously all 1040 and other Individual Income Tax Return forms that you have. (from you and from your co-sponsor if you have one). Just send everything, all again with the pink letter and you will be fine.

I just sent the same package that they already have but with some extras W2s that I never sent.

Woohoo - checks have been cashed today! No NOAs as far as I know, but then we're using my husband's mother's address as our mailing address, so I won't find out about them the second they arrive anyway.

I can see my checks online and thought the numbers on the back were pretty clear, but when I tried entering them into the USCIS case status thing, I get a message saying 'case status retrieval failed'... anyone know if this is most likely to be a) because I'm putting in the wrong numbers (like I say, they all looked pretty clear - and it's the MSC-followed-by-10-digits ones that I'm using), B) because they don't enter cases onto the system instantly, and I'll need to wait a bit, or c) uh, some other reason? :unsure:

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

That's strange... hmm, maybe the whole thing about the case number being on the back of the cheque is a myth! We shall see... I'll resist the urge to call my poor lovely mother-in-law every 10 minutes to see if the mail has arrived, and hope that the NOAs arrive soon. Weird, though... those numbers looked like they should be right, and were easy enough to read - shame typing them into the USCIS site achieved ####### all! :blush: Oh, and hooray for stuff happening on your case, by the way - I see some touching has been going on!! :)

Hey thanks...ya I am pretty happy that something's happening on my case. I am anxiously awaiting the 'pending at CSC' e-mail- a lot of April filers have received that in about 15 days after transfer.

I am sure your NOA's will come soon! Keep us up to date :)

I discovered with ours that the number that follows the last number of the group from the back of the check is the I-485. Skip a number for the biometrics and then the others will follow after that. My checks ran from MSC xxxxxxxx59 - MSC xxxxxxxx63 then my I-485 NOA receipt number ends in 64 then 65 is the "case retrieval invalid line" then 66-68 are the EAD, AP and I-130 NOA numbers.

It is as if the checks get their own receipt number.

Hmm... I'm going to try messing around with it and see if I can get it to accept something like that - meh, who cares if I end up obsessing over someone else's case status for a couple of days, at least it'll give me something to do! :lol:

Not much in the way of updates lately, but I think that's kind of expected after the biometrics. We have a slowdown while people wait to get transferred or interviews or such. In any case, updated list. People on the bottom may end up getting pushed off to the June filer's thread depending on when their NOA1 date is.

Wow it seems that people who filed after us have already got their NOA's in the mail, I haven't yet, I do know that the checks were cashed. I hope it doesn't take long. Has anyone had their checks cashed and then waited for a long time before the NOA1's arrived?
