Hi to all....ive read about the fees will increase...so need to apply for I-131 next month before july 30th. THe fees are terrible in July 30th. :crying:

had my immunization info transferred in I-693a thank God!

May 11, 2007-AOS mailed

May 13, 2007- item was delivered in CHICAGO IL

May 16, 2007- AOS/EAD NOA recieved

June 2, 2007- Biometrics Appointment Date

June 21,2007-AOS transferred to California Service Center

July 10, 2007-I-485 Card production Ordered

July 11, 2007-Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

July 13, 2007-Approval notice sent- I-485

July 19, 2007- Green Card Arrived! Wooohooo!

July 24, 2007- I passed my driving written test!

August 22, 2007 Passed my road test and started my work!

April 2009- Removing Conditions Applied

September 11 -got my 10 Year green card! yahooo!

December 2010- Apply for Citizenship

I agree!! I'm glad that we filed when we did so that we can avoid that. Paying $575 for AOS & EAD was bad enough. Biometrics does not cost $79. That is ridiculous.

Hi everyone...

i just wanna give update for my journey...:)

i reschedulled my biometric appointment...but i recieved a new appointment the next day...which is..june 08, 07...

and i really disappointed...i wish i have 2 more weeks ...

My pregnancy due is june 07...how come i could make it...for this appoinment...(oh my goodness..:))

anyway....i went to the USCIS Denver (that i supposed to go on june 08,07),

and i explain to them why i need reschedulle my appointment...and i brought a letter from my Obgyn..(that i am due to have

a baby on june 08,07.)

Finally..he will do my biometric today....but...i didn't bring my marriage certificate...that prove my marriage name...

so..he reschedulle me for tomorrow...05-31-07 at 01.00 pm (yupppppyyy)

wish me luck :)

that's what happened to me today...

so....i will update again tomorrow...

and good luck for may's filler...

I mailed my i 130 on may 1st and i 485 on may 3rd, got rfe on 485 cos of no i 130 receipt and received hard copy noa1 in mail on 24th of may.

i 130 mailed - 05/01/2007

i 130 received at csc - 05/03/2007

noa 1(hardcopy) received - 05/24/2007

check for i 130 cashed - 05/29/2007

i 130 - case pending - 05/29/2007

1 485 mailed to chicago - 05/05/2007

i 485 received at chicago - 05/08/2007

rfe received on 485 - 05/18/2007

mailed i 485/ i 765 back to chicago - 05/29/2007( had to wait for 130 receipt)

I didn't apply for EAD, so I am going to have to make a tough decision in July if there's no movement on my case....to apply or not to apply...THAT is the question! HA! I certainly don't want to find out that I am stuck in namecheck on Aug 1st and have to pay the higher fees!

Lucky_star, congratulations on the baby and I'm glad to hear that USCIS did right this time. Biometric is so fast and easy that there is no reason for them not to.

Today is the last day of May - so we're about to close this thread to new filers. However, I started a June Filer thread yesterday for anyone with NOAs in June.

Congrats - but if your NOA is from June then you're considered a June Filer.

Yeah, mine were touched yesterday. It seems like there's always a few touches right after the biometrics. Hubbie starts school on the 11th, so we just keep rolling one day to the next.

This may be a dumb question, but I was wondering how you find out if you're "touched". I registered my case with the uscis website and am supposed to receive emails when there are any updates. If I get an email (or check the uscis website), what will it say to consider it a touch? Ok, I feel dumb. :lol:

If you check your application through the online screen, a 'touch' is when the date changes. If there's an update, the message will change when you click on your application. If not, it's just a normal 'touch' which could mean any number of things. I always joke that it means they shoved our application behind the toilet for further consideration, but I'm a dork.
