Congrats Winterr! It looks like involving your congressman really paid off. Hopefully your daughter's approval is close behind!

No updates on our case since 2/29/08. They resumed processing after the RFE, there were 3 consecutive touches, and then nothing. SO frustrating. It wouldn't bother me nearly as much, as I'm work and travel authorized, but I've applied to graduate school here and was accepted, PENDING showing proof of permanent residency. I'm just so entirely frustrated right now. Does anybody have any ideas for me? I've contacted my congressman. I never did hear back from them; however, soon after I emailed his staff person, that was when we saw the 3 consecutive touches. I just feel at a loss at this point. Trying to stay positive, but it's getting harder.

I emailed the caseworker in our congressman's office again today. She just emailed me back, apparently we're approved!!!!!!! They just haven't updated our online status for whatever reason. The caseworker said we should hear through the mail at anytime. I can hardly believe it!!!!!!

I am still waiting for any update from USCIS.

I tried to go to my location congressman's office last friday. But there was no one there. Then I found out my zip belongs to a different congressman...wasted my trip. I tried the call the correct local congressman's office but office was closed for Good Friday too... I emailed him through a form in his website.

I will wait 1-2 days for his response or I will call him later. Hope there is a good result.

Good luck to all May filers....
