I'm sorry about the RFEs too. At least you and your husband are together for this - it'll all work out.

My baby had a dentist appt and they pulled a tooth - poor thing is sleeping - but better than feeling the pain.

I might just make it as a May filer too - well, I filed that thing today, but whether the NOA will make it before the start of June, I have nooooo idea. Anyway... it's done, it's sent, I am so relieved to be done with USCIS-y paperwork for a little while longer. Although an RFE wouldn't come as a surprise at all, so I won't sit back and wait just yet. :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Well, the second RFE reply arrived there this morning, but apparently no one was there to pick it up. So the post office is going to try again and then hold the damn thing. I'm starting to get quite a bit frustrated with this process. If it doesn't get delivered the second time, I think I'll just send again and skip the overnight mail. Apparently they don't like it much.

Hey Arazia We are definitively in the same boat... My RFE response deliver was delayed in the first try today (nobody to receive the package) but in the second time at 4:06pm they finally delivered the envelope.

Now... How do we know if our RFE response is accepted and OK for USCIS?? Do you have any idea? I tried to search something in the forum but with no luck.

05/25/10 - N-400 package delivered in Phoenix, AZ

06/04/10 - Check cashed

06/10/10 - NOA received

06/16/10 - Case available online

06/17/10 - Case online showing RFE (Biometrics notice) sent on 06/16/10

06/21/10 - Biometrics Letter Received

07/08/10 - Biometrics appointment

07/07/10 - Walk in Biometrics

08/06/10 - Email / Text for for new case status: "Test and Interview"

08/09/10 - Interview Appointment letter received for 09/13/10

09/13/10 - Interview Approved!

09/13/10 - Same Day Ceremony! I am a US Citizen!

You would expect something like this if you check your case status online, and/or an email from CRIS (if you subscribed for email updates in your USCIS portfolio):

"Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On May **, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER .."

Okay, let me see.. I'm speaking about a friend's experience, recently, RFE was about the I-864 and supporting docs..She mailed the RFE docs 05/07/07 via USPS, returned receipt showed 05/11, and she got an email from the USCIS (CRIS) that docs were received on 05/14/07, and there were 2 touches on the 18th and 19th of May..

From what I gather from 3 friends who had the RFE only recently, usually it took a few days after submission of RFE docs for the USCIS to resume on reviewing the case. Hang in there gustahot, hopefully yours will be sooner! :thumbs:

Okay, updated with folks who sent recently. Really, I'm basing the 'May' filers on NOA1 date. So I'll keep adding people until we start seeing NOA1 dates in June. My second RFE response was received yesterday afternoon at the same time as gustahot's. There's only one day between the two responses, so hopefully it will get sorted out okay. Hubbie has his biometrics today.
