  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail
  • October 4, 5, 7, 13 & 17 2006 Touches! 50 day address change... Yes Judith is beautiful, quit staring at her passport photo and approve us!!! Shaming works! LOL
  • October 13, 2006 NOA2! November 2, 2006 NOA2? Huh? NVC already processed and sent us on to Abu Dhabi Consulate!
  • February 12, 2007 Abu Dhabi Interview SUCCESS!!! February 14 Visa in hand!

Ah winterr, I was hoping that your post meant something had happened.

Good luck on the wait - I know it's hard.

Our interview is in a week and although we're basically ready - I guess I could print out more pictures - though I have an album full from the wedding - it makes you nervous.

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

Hi May filers....sorry I've been MIA for the past few months. Since our transfer to CSC over 6 months ago, we hadn't heard a word regarding our AOS application. Then a few days ago, we received a request for additional evidence saying they need a medical examination (the one I submitted when I crossed the border on my K1). So......sigh. I haven't been on VJ for a while, so I'll have to look up how to handle this one, I know this has happened to many people in the past. I assume I'll have to contact a civil surgeon around here, or get in touch with the one who originally did the medical back in Canada to see if I can get a copy of it.

Hope everyone had a great holiday! Wishing everyone a smooth immigration journey in '08.

It was a success and very easy. I left a post so feel free to read it! Hubby even got a stamp in his passport.

I'm relieved it's over 'til Nov of 2009 when we have to remove conditions. It's nice to know that your spouse is a permanent resident!!

And....the IO was a nice lady and she let me translate....I didn't even ask.
