I recieved an email today telling me that my GC card production was ordered.. I am very happy :)

Congrats!

I also find myself posting less on VJ since I don't have news or questions as of now. I guess that if the GC isn't approved within the next couple months then I'll be back about the AP....but I hope I'm only back to give good news. Mr. Bora Bora is very patient - but I'm not ;)

Bora Bora, I am not patient either, only because the time line of how long we have to wait is so unknown and I worry about my file and my daughters file being left for years or something in some sort of name check thing. You have been waiting longer than me actually. You just never know these things. But I hope that the handful of us may filers who haven't heard anything will hear soon.

I just wanted to drop a note and let folks know that I haven't been able to keep up with things lately, and I don't expect that to change soon. Life outside of immigration has eaten up my time. So... I guess it's time I ask that someone else take over and keep the list up to date.

I guess I'll probably see most people in this thread come two years from now or so when I'm back in the swing of things for removal of conditions.

I've been checking my online status like a fiend today (usually I check it once and that's it) for some strange reason, and five minutes ago, I was expecting to see "Last Updated: 08/09/07", but instead, it read today's date. I clicked on my case number and it now reads "card production ordered". :dance: I am so happy, I actually started to cry.

Good luck to all of you still waiting and thanks for everything fellow May filers. :)

Wow!! That's great!! You hadn't had a touch in a long time...I just checked mine too. But since (like you) I'm so used to seeing 5/31 I didn't get a good look. I'll go back...

I also wanted to let you guys know that I got my driver's license on Friday! I wrote the written test, then was put on a waiting list for the driving test. I waited 4 hours!! I passed with flying colours on everything, so now I have a fancy Ohio license! I used my EAD to get it though, so it's only valid for 1 year :( .

New week, new opportunities for approval...good luck this week everyone!
