 Oh dear...

I've no idea whats going on with my local office.

Avg. Days

btw Biometrics and Interview is 70 days for Omaha in the last 6 months.

Avg. Days from NOA to interview is 97 days for Omaha in the last 6 months.

I guess they might be on slow-mo now

USCIS website says 6 months for Omaha,NE so i guess i'll have to wait another 2 months and maybe, just maybe i'll have an interview date by then.

Yea, I know what you mean Maria...Orlando is supposed to be SUPER slow.

However, USCIS website says that the processing time for CSC and Orlando are 6 months....but my hubby's case has to GET THERE first. It's been almost 4 months since a touch - almost 5 months since we mailed in the AOS application.

One more month and we can start complaining...

I know there are people a lot worse off - but it seems that the majority actually have some movement...

Good luck to us!

You'd swear both our cases were just sitting on a shelf gathering dust, no movement on your's in almost almost 4 months, none on mine in almost 3 months, what is USCIS doing with them. :bonk:

It would be great to wake up one morning to a "your case has been transfered to a USCIS office" email, at least we would know that at least an interview date would be coming soon. *sigh*

I know Maria!

I don't even mind an interview honestly. The only headache with that is that Mr. Bora Bora would have to take off of work (unpaid) and we'd have to get an interpretor since his English is not good enough for him to do an interview on his own.

I checked for more updates but nada....

So we continue to wait

At our interview ( In Newark ) when I gave the appointment letter at the window I asked for someone who spoke Spanish. The whole interview was conducted in Spanish mind you , but my husband was very comfortable because of this.

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Although I had a touch on sept 11th it would have just been my change of address update so I believe mine is just sitting there too, gathering some dust. Like Bora said, they give a 6 month estimate so we'll see how it goes. :halloween:

narock, I don't know if it's possible to have our interview in Portuguese (I wouldn't be surprised if it could be in Spanish - we live in Orlando). I'd be perfectly fine with that since I'm so used to speaking the language - and I know my husband would prefer it.

However, if we need an interpretor than we'll find one...hopefully our case will be transferred to CSC soon and will approved w/out an interview.

:bonk: Sorry forgot to notice you are from Brazil, my bad. However you can take someone with you who speaks both and then there shoulod not be a problem. Hoping you get something soon as we played the waiting game for a while on the name check ( not as long as many others thought ) so I understand the waiting. GOOD LUCK

I've been checking my online status like a fiend today (usually I check it once and that's it) for some strange reason, and five minutes ago, I was expecting to see "Last Updated: 08/09/07", but instead, it read today's date. I clicked on my case number and it now reads "card production ordered". I am so happy, I actually started to cry.

Good luck to all of you still waiting and thanks for everything fellow May filers. :)
