Thanks for the congrats, all... I'm still quite stunned! When I saw that one of my 'last updated' dates had changed, I was thinking 'wait... that's the AOS, not the EAD...!' then was too excited/nervous to read what the case status actually said. I think I was expecting to discover I'd got an RFE!

Both JessiPooh and myself had our EAD's transfered to CSC end of May ...and we aint heard nothing since!!

OK one question, can I work when I get my letter of approval for the EAD or do I have to wait for the actual card?

My case was touched today, but no status update. Hopefully the next one is the magic one.

I'm not sure...but i think you can take your approval letter with you then show your EAD card to your employer when it arrives. I'm sure someone else will let you know otherwise.

Thank you! Tis a good feeling, though also with a bit of 'guilt' that there are other people out there who have been waiting SO long... I hope everyone here who's still awaiting approval gets it ASAP!

And oh yeah... good USCIS-mojo coming in your direction, may that lovely CSC employee who approved me yesterday pick up your file today and stamp a great big 'APPROVED' on it! Oh yeah, I saw that you'd been told your file wasn't going to be sent back to Cincy in 7 months for an interview or whatever... allow me to say that in my humble and utterly unexpert opinion that that person must surely have been talking out of their behind!
