Congratulations silke! And happy birthday as well!

We got the EAD card and Welcome Letter yesterday, as well as a CHRIS email stating green card production had been ordered!

Just to throw my hat in the wring on the debate, I think you are setting yourself up for disappointment going by received date, all the documents we received indicated our NOA1 date was our "priority" date. I don't believe USCIS would act to expedite anything based on the date they received a packet, but others here have indeed had workers at infopass appointments tell them the received date was what USCIS went by to calculate times. It could come down to the worker on the case I suppose...

  • April 2004 met online
  • July 16, 2006 Met in person on her birthday in United Arab Emirates
  • August 4, 2006 sent certified mail I-129F packet Neb SC
  • August 9, 2006 NOA1
  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail

i don't need to stay at home anymore, while my hubby goes on a business trip to Canada.

i can go with him now.

plus i can finally work now.

better start getting my resumes out.

resumes are so different here, compared to the UK.

think this is a chance for me to change my career.

Happy birthday also to Silke..what a present you got.

I received my EAD yesterday in the mail. It was 10 days from the "Card Production Ordered" email. Hopefully I can find a job pretty soon. We actually just got a new puppy. We decided that with me at home this summer, this is the perfect time to have a puppy. He's a cutie and I'm having a blast playing, bonding, and training him..but yeah, it's time to go back to the work force..the vet bills are not going to pay themselves.. :lol:

We have the interview at the end of the month. Hate to wish my life away, but I want it to hurry up and get here. :)
