BoraBora, not sure if this helps you feel better or not but I hope so, your calculation should start from your NOA1 dates, which was May 8th, so your applications are really at day 75 not including today...

That's what I thought too - but the immigration officer at the INFOPASS appointment told me that the counting begins from the receipt date. I don't know...

Hey BoraBora,

OK, cool if so! That would add 4 bonus days for our countdown too! :thumbs: Our papers were received May 7th, but we have been counting since our May 11 NOA1 date. So not sure if we should consider ourselves at day 72 or day 76. I like the sound of day 76! ;)

We have not had a touch for our AOS or EAD since June 11th, but since our interview is August 1st we feel like the chances are we will get the green card before our EAD.

Yea, I know what you mean....I guess use the receipt date. That is what most people on VJ do too. I thought that was weird/wrong until I talked to the immigration officer. We never know with USCIS.

No USCIS Touching Action here in a while... oh well - nothing to report. Happy Monday (luckily it's nearly over), everyone! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
