i received an email from CRIS this morning, my EAD is approved!!! :energetic: :energetic: :dance:

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On July 20, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow

30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from

you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call

customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we

process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

And just wanted to say to Bora Bora... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all will work out with your EAD. By the way, did you manage to find out at your Infopass whether your AOS application is still at the NBC, or if it's gone to your local office? I did read your post about the Infopass, but didn't notice whether you'd had any luck establishing whether you're awaiting an interview date or not!

Our EAD was approved today as well!

One question to everyone, we received an e-mail saying our AOS was transferred on 6/28/07. We still have not received anything saying that it has been received and its pending....althought it was tocuhed on 7/7/07. Should we be concerned or just keep on waiting?

We should have heard about our EAD by now because it's day 80 now...oh well.

My EAD and AOS are both at the NBC so the official couldn't tell me too much. He just said he'd put in the inquiry to have the code changed on my EAD. He said he'd call once there was an answer but I don't trust that much.

So, we're still waiting. And NO touches - even after the infopass appointment. It's like we're in no man's land. It's frustrating.

We'll mail out a new application for the EAD by next week if we don't receive anything. That way, if my hubby's EAD is denied we'll have another application pending w/ USCIS - which we hope will be ok.

It's not fair to allow someone to emigrate and not allow them to work.

I made another infopass appointment for next week and will cancel it if the EAD is approved. If not, then I'll verify with them that we're applying for a new EAD the correct way.

Next Sunday we're going on vacation - so soon I'll be forgetting this sh!t.

I have not heard about my EAD either, the last touch I had was on the 10th of june.

We got the welcome letter in the mail today. Very nice. It says card will arrive in at most three weeks - the email said 60 days, so this is an improvement. I'm a little impatient for that "card production ordered" email though.

Congrats on the EAD approvals. Hoping that mine gets approved next week. I noticed that they are going by the first NOA date. Right now looks like they are on 5/11, mine is on 5/14. Keeping fingers crossed here.

Hey Guys. For all of you who had your AOS transferred to CSC around June 28, give or take a day, and had it pending at CSC by the 7th of July start expecting Welcome notices.

We just received ours and I know of two other couples with similar dates, pending, touches etc that were approved as early as July 17th and ours was approved today the 20th.
