Hallo!

I have a question and I hope somebody can help me. :unsure: We are having our interview on the beginning of August and I can not find our NOA1 from our K1 Visa. Do you think we will need it for our interview? Thank you.

Woke up this morning, did NOT check the USCIS website because I'm playing hard to get (whatever!), but checked my email before heading out to the gym and voila:

And yes, this was day 72 or so! We are of course thrilled, I did a little dance, called both sets of parents etc etc. We are keeping our Infopass appt though as we want to remind the LA office we are still here and see when we can expect an interview...

My AOS got touched this afternoon after 47 days from my biometrics and transfer to CSC, got to tell myself my AOS is not lost or stucked in one of the CSC officer's drawers. It's been a 8 days since the approval of my EAD and I have not received it yet 22 more days waiting before the USCIS 30 days allowance for delivery.

My immigration journey is a nightmare. My K-1 took me 8 months before I had my interviewed (now it's only 6mos in Manila USE) then another 37 days in AR jail. I'm just thankful to VJ for all the info and support! Also, Congratulations to all those who were approved! USCIS touch me more from this day on, cheers!

Arrival in the US 02-22-07

Married 04-05-07

Filed AOS/EAD 04-25-07 (priority mail)

Received at Chicago lockbox 04-28-07

Check encashed 05-02-07

Received biometrics letter 05-10-07

Biometrics sked 06-1-07 @ Charlotte, NC

Thanks for the congratulatory words and JessiPooh, it seems like the 70 day point is indeed the time they start waking up to finalise the EAD...so good luck!

I know some of us still have a distance to go (interview etc) but contrary to what others may think about a thread such as this, based on filing per date (because it makes some feel out of the loop etc as all cases are processed differently), I've really benefited from having a cohort to share my news and my worries with! So thanks!

In addition, I feel that such a thread also gives us/has given me some sense of perspective - when to wonder/question what is going on with our file and equally, when to relax and let things just move forward.
